These original OEM Ford door panels have undergone a complete in-house restoration and customization process at OBS Interiors. Every component was disassembled, inspected, repaired as needed, refinished, upholstered, and reassembled prior to being offered for sale.
The original insert sections were removed and replaced with genuine Alcantara suede featuring custom channel details, while the original trim moldings were refinished in a high-gloss piano black finish. Each trim piece underwent a multi-stage finishing process including sanding, clear coating, wet sanding, and polishing to achieve its final appearance. New custom-built armrests upholstered in black European Nappa leather with French seams complete the package.
 
From initial disassembly through final assembly, these panels required more than 19 hours of skilled labor involving plastic restoration, upholstery, refinishing, fabrication, and customization. The plastics were refinished using our professional-grade interior coloring system, which remains unmatched in overall durability and finish quality in the industry.
 
Unlike reproduction panels, these are original Ford panels that have been individually restored and customized using the same methods, materials, and processes utilized throughout our customer projects.
 
Restoration and customization process included:
Complete disassembly and inspection of all components that create these panels
Identification and repair of cracks, fractures, and damaged plastic areas (including micro fractures and scuffs)
Plastic repair, reinforcement, and fabrication where required
Deep cleaning and chemical surface preparation
Texture restoration and blending in repaired areas

Removal of original insert materials
Fabrication and installation of genuine Alcantara suede inserts
Custom channel upholstery design and construction
Refinishing of original trim moldings in piano black
Multi-stage clear coating, wet sanding, and polishing of trim components
Fabrication of new custom armrests upholstered in black European Nappa leather with French seams
Installation of new speaker cloth and padding
